santuario_dei_piloni_047Montà is a small rural town famous for its natural beauty ( le rocche castles, woods, vineyards and chestnut trees), for its gastronomic specialities (typical Roero wines, white truffles, hazelnuts, peaches, chestnuts and honey, as well as for its outstanding typical Piedmontese cuisine) and the “Santuario dei Piloni”, a unique wayside shrines sanctuary famous all over Piedmont. The area also houses the “Rocche del Roero Eco-Museum” that includes five thematic trails  that will allow you to enjoy wonderful walks in nature.
The town of Montà d’Alba (Cuneo, Italy) is about 45 km far from Turin, 33 km from Asti and 20 km Alba.
