The building where the residence is located is one of the most ancient and most valuable of the whole Montà's real estates. Built at the end of the '700, it is located in the middle of Montà's historic centre. The elegance of some architectural details (such as the "lambrequin", that enriches the whole perimeter of the building's roof, or the dormer window, completely worked with ancient bricks, or the indoor ladder's railing, which is completely worked in cast iron, and finally the baked tile flowered floor) confirms the exclusiveness of the building. Built on the rests of an ancient tavern-stabling, the building was located exactly on one of Montà's historic entrances, as documented by some notes which have been found out during its restoration jobs.
